Terms of use
Last updated: 8 April 2026. Plain-language summary — not formal legal advice; have a lawyer review if you need a binding contract.
1. The service
ExpiryDesk ("we", "the service") helps teams track stock expiry and related inventory information (including in pharmacy settings). Features and availability may change as we improve the product.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when you sign up. Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use ExpiryDesk for anything unlawful, to harm others, to try to break or overload our systems, or to scrape or misuse data you do not have a right to use. You retain ownership of data you enter; you give us permission to host and process it so we can run the service for you.
4. Not professional or regulatory advice
ExpiryDesk is a software tool. It is not medical, legal, or regulatory advice. You remain responsible for complying with pharmacy laws, SOPs, and professional standards in your jurisdiction.
5. Email and marketing
We send essential transactional emails (e.g. account verification, password reset, expiry alerts you enable). If you opt in to marketing, we may send product news and tips; frequency is lower while you have an active paid subscription than before you subscribe. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in those emails; transactional emails needed to run your account may continue.
6. Subscriptions and fees
Paid plans, billing, and refunds are handled as described on our pricing and checkout pages and by our payment provider. Failure to pay may limit or end access to paid features.
7. Disclaimer and limit of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your use of or reliance on the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if none, a reasonable cap).
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
